Saturday May 24th, saw our very first group competition for 2025 at the Brisbane Evolution Reguonal competition, held at ERPAC in Brisbane City.

The day started out with all our Sparkles Team and Junior Performance Team gathering at the centre, with the buzz of excitement and anticipation in the air.

For our 6 years and under Sparkles Team this was their very first competition ever!  With a team of 12 - 5 and 6 year olds taking to the stage for the first time there is always a little craziness and chaos. But we could not be prouder of the incredible performance of this group.  The girls absolutely shone and showed how much they had learned in just a few short months of performance gymnastics.

The sparkles won 1st place in the 6 years and under Acrobatics Age division!  What a great start to their competition careers.

Along side the Sparkles, our Juniors took to the stage in the 10 years and under age group.  This team put on 2 brand new routines and showed a level of stage presence and team work above and beyond anything we have seen from them before.

They Showed incredible skill and talent and won BOTH 1st place and 2nd place in the 10 years and under Acrobatics Age group division, with their two routines.

After a quick lunch break, we were back in the afternoon for our Senior Performance Team to take on the tough open age group section.

Our Senior Team also unveiled two brand new routines on the day, showing a very high degree of a skill and ability taking out Bith 2nd place and 3rd place in the Open age Acrobatics division!

Great work everyone, a superb start to the 2025 competition season!  We will be back tomorrow for our Mini and Intermediate teams to take to the stage!
